Who I am

Hello! My name is Paul Treadwell, and I am a seasoned educator with over thirty years of experience in education. From leading educational adventure trips in South America to coaching high school soccer to advising tutorial groups to directing community service projects, I have a broad range of experience with students of various ages in diverse settings.

But most importantly, it has been the twenty five years in the classroom – both public and private, middle and high school, local and international schools – that have reinforced my conviction that every student has the potential to learn any subject as long as the student’s individualized learning needs are addressed. A solid connection between the student and the teacher is crucial in discovering the unique learning style of each student. This is a collaborative job of both teacher and student, and there is no better way to do this than through one-on-one instruction.

After living abroad for many years in South America, our family relocated to Napa, California. When not teaching, I enjoy making noise on my guitar and harmonica, reading, surfing, and traveling with my family.
